Total Scam - Ripoff, Does Not Play Other Games Well
Just received this and the GenMobile Sega Genesis retro systems. In regards to this Gen Core system, I could not believe how light and cheap it felt. I know it's only $45 dollars, but still the system is literally light as a feather, (moves easily when your playing it), and the controllers feel EXTREMELY cheap. The D Pad is pretty good, BUT THAT'S IT, all the buttons feel like extremely cheap plastic and the controller is so light it actually feels totally hollow.
Note: You should only buy this system if you want to play the 20 installed games. They work well. Unfortunately, I HAVE TRIED 2 OTHER CARTRIDGE GAMES, AND THEY WORK HORRIBLE, NOT PLAYABLE. Super Monaco GP plays extremely slow and the sound is messed up, not original gameplay at all, so slow its not playable. Same thing with NBA Jam, the gameplay is way too slow and the sound is again messed up. The box is actually nicer than the system. Don't waste your money and be disappointed like I was. I'm selling this POS on ebay. I had a large Sega Genesis collection as a kid, but stupidly decided to chuck everything when I moved. I wanted to build a new collection with this as my main system instead of buying an old, possibly uncared for, original system. Bad idea, if you want a Sega Genesis to play your old games on, your going to have to buy an original on ebay. This emulator stuff is horrible. Sorry!

The pre-loaded games worked alright for about 20 minutes, then after attempting to play a cartridge the system stopped working altogether. This product is a poorly constructed, over-priced decoration for your dumpster.

Luckily the outlet I bought it from is giving me a refund.

Great Product
Great product for the enthusiast gamer. Controls felt just like the arcade. Joystick and buttons functioned smoothly. Comfortable hand rest on pad. Best of all, it's compatible with PS3, PS2, and PCs!

very sweet product
wow there is one minor problem that doesn't truly come from the product do NOT hold this against this product i just need to relearn the joystick skills but it is great it helps me with the moves i want it to i am not sure how else to praise it this is worth buying big time.

Not satisfied with my purchase
There's two things that would make this stick "great": 1) it needs more weight to hold it down 2) the stick & switches are way too loud. I own a Hori Fighting Stick 3 stick that is superior to this stick. For the price, it's a decent stick. For all you modders out there, it's extremely difficult to mod. Everything is glued to the switches.

Get version 2 of this item
This version of the adapter is hit and miss. Theoretically it works but isn't compatible at times with controllers and certain driving wheels. DragonPlus came out with a version 2 of this same adapter and works beautifully. Since Sony has released firmware
2.7 that has disabled some of the ps2-ps3 controller adapters, Version 2 works great. I immediately tried some PS2 games in the PS3, and the DS2 worked as well as rumble. I also tested Battlefiled Bad Company and other PS3 games with rumble and the DS2 worked with rumble on PS3 games. I also have 3 steering wheels and those all worked with force feedback as well.

There is no PS button on this item, but the "analog" button on DS2's works the same as the PS button ( press once or hold function). There is also a trick to get to the XMB or to register some controllers by using Up and Select as the PS button.

For those wondering about input lag, Version 2 had no lag I could detect. Aiming in FPS was right on.

ADAPTER NO GOOD FOR PLAYING PS3 GAMES !!
My feelings are hurt buying this useless thing, First off forget about GH3 simple games like Iron man and MK vs DC the analog bottons dont work useing my PS2 controller!!! for Iron man i can punch thats it and MK vs DC nothing works.......

And here is the worst part, I have a NYKO type 2 controller for my PS2 with the keypad built in, hot as hell and good size (hate sony size controllers to small!) and i wanted to use that controller on my PS3 and online play !

Maybe my adapter is defective but it was fresh out the package, Im looking to send it back if you are thinking about buying beware and GOOD LUCK !!

Delay
Like the title says...there's a delay
I'm used to arcade button response where I can do raging demon really fast. Playing CvS2 or 3S on the PS2 can handle the response times, but this adapter for the PS3 can't keep up.

cheap analogs
i thought i was getting a deal on this controller but when you move the joy sticks left there fine when you move them right it catches your players movement farther out. its cheaply calibrated .sticks are way to touchy player movement is horrible take my advice and stick to sonys controller trust me.

Will not connect, Zero Support found
I just purchased this controller and when I plug it in the PC, yes the drivers are automatically installed and say ready for use. The actual controller however does not sync for use.

I press the sync button the usb connector, the indicator lights flash but nothing happens. The controller has no connect button.

I have been trying to find instructions or any form of support for this controller however, I have found nothing at all. No way to contact the company or manuel.

Buyer beware.

If someone out there actually owns this controller and can lead me to support or tell me how to change the controller to sync mode please comment on this review.

Eh
The controller sometimes takes a while before the right stick will work for some reason. Kind of annoying to have to remember to switch it to "off" to save batteries.
