When the King of All Cosmos accidentally destroys all the stars in the sky, he orders you, his pint-sized princely son, to put the twinkle back in the heavens above. The only way you can do that is by rolling everything on Earth into clumps so that he can replace what's missing in space. "Everything" includes cookies, lawn mowers, lamp posts, sumo wrestlers, bulldozers, brontosauruses , cruise ships, and more. Katamari Damacy also includes a two-player battle mode where you and a friend can see who can grow the biggest ball of stuff. For one to two players.

    Weird, weird, weird....and really good!5
One thing can be said for certain: you haven't played a game like this before. Everything about this game is off-the-wall, but it works. When you load the game for the first time, you will be greeted with giraffes, rainbows, bicycles, and a plethora of other things- all performing some contorted dance- just for you. Welcome to the world of Katamari Damacy, where the gameplay is original and surprisingly addictive. Your goal?- roll your sticky ball around to collect the "objects from earth". As your ball gets bigger, you can pick up bigger things. So you go on a hunt to keep growing your ball. The levels you play in are simply huge- I never felt like I had seen everything in a level- so replay level is quite high. Meanwhile, the background music is a lot of fun, good enough to put you in a good mood if the rest of the game doesn't. And the story- without ruining anything- has to be the product of mixing drugs and alcohol. The controls are quite simple, employing only the analog sticks and a couple shoulder buttons (although I never found much use for the shoulder buttons). When I heard about and found the game, I worried that it would be too simplistic to entertain me- it seems my worries were unfounded; Katamari Damacy is a great game for everyone....and cheap, too!

    Surreal game, flawlessly executed5
I really hope the success of this game convinces publishers to bring over more off-the-wall Japanese titles. This game is awesome. Gameplay is very simple: you roll around a ball (using the analog sticks in a control scheme reminiscent of Battlezone) and things stick to it. That's it. There are basically two kind of challenges: get the ball to be a certain size, or pick up as many of something as you can find. (Katamari Damacy loosely translates as "ball of stuff.")

While this may not sound like the world's most exciting way to spend your time, the flawless execution gives Katamari Damacy the simple, in-the-zone addictiveness of Tetris. The backstory is bizzare: your father, the King of All Cosmos, goes on what sounds very much like an acid trip and breaks all the stars. When he sobers up, he finds that everyone is annoyed, so he tasks you with going to Earth to collect raw material to rebuild the sky. The raw material turns out to be anything from thumbtacks to people to ships. The King's disconnected, slightly deranged speech patterns add much to the style of the game, as does the intro video, which is better seen than described. Add to that another side of the story told by following a Japanese family in very weird, stylistic interstitials and you've got a very surreal experience.

Katamari Damacy is backed by a soundtrack that would be worth $20 by itself. With replay value assured by levels that are easy to conquer but difficult to do perfectly, this game is a great addition to anyone's console library.

    Marble Madness Gone, well, Mad5
After first reading about this game in PSM, in a small article in the back of the magazine, and then finding discussions everywhere on the web I was intrigued. I found it in a bigbox for cheap so I bought it. It is great. It is a nice diversion from killing people, and scoring touchdowns (both of which I enjoy tremendously). The game is a trip. It is very odd, but the music rocks, the graphics are trippy and the controls are flawless. THIS IS THE BEST BARGAIN THERE IS IN PS2 GAMES.

    A Worthy Addition4
I'm certain others will be more detailed on the history, but there was a storm regarding "Beautiful Katamari". That storm happened because it was released on the XBox 360, but not the PS3 even though up to that point, the entire Katamari franchise had only been released on Playstation systems (PS2/PSP). But thankfully the developers went forward with "Katamari Damacy Tribute", which would in the US be known as "Katamari Forever". So for fans of Katamari Damacy, the wait was over and we get to see the game in HD for the PS3. I'll try to explain the game without giving too much away. So be forewarned, there might be a minor spoiler there in terms of gameplay.

First, this is NOT like the XBox 360 version. The story fits in line with any other Katamari story. Short, basic and (sometimes) confusing. The king takes a knock to the head and it's up to you, with the help of "Roboking", to restore his memory. Among other things. The overall gameplay remains consistent with one major change. You can now (spoiler) jump! Hard to reach places are no longer an obstacle and on some levels you will really need to do this to get higher scores and to different areas, not to mention collect gifts and cousins. Otherwise you use the PS2 sticks the same as always. The other difference is that the Prince gets a bit tired from doing dashes and stays that way for a bit longer, which is a little annoying to be honest.

The "Tribute" part of the game comes because really, there's not a whole lot of new material here. Whether it be items or even levels, chances are if you've played the previous incarnations of the games you've already seen all of the levels available. Within the "King" are mostly levels from "We Love Katamari", including familiar levels with Hansel and Gretel and the campfire levels. The Roboking levels are a mix, but do contain a few innovative challenges, like watering a desert with the katamari. There are several new challenges and levels available that differ even from the 360 version while adding some of what's in the 360 version to it, like the 'Rich' level.

Overall, I think this was a pretty good game however I found it easier to put this one down after a little while. The graphics were beautiful and the gameplay was relatively smooth (although jumping definitely increases the ability to get stuck between things). Also, IMO, the music wasn't quite as strong as the other versions; in some ways, the tracks felt cheaper as they're mostly remixed versions of the great originals. Hopefully in the future you'll be able to pull those off of the store or something. ALSO, and this is A BIG knock - there is NO online game-play. Just leaderboards. So you can't connect with someone else playing the game for a co-op or battle like I believe you could on the 360 version. Having said all of this, if you're new to Katamari Damacy you won't feel like you've missed a ton of history. But if you've been there from the beginning, you might be a little under-whelmed. Overall I'd rate it a bit better than the 360 version as the controls on that one weren't quite as good, IMO.

Solid fun, but a bit hackneyed now...4
I now own three Katamari games - Katamari Damacy, We Love Katamari, and Katamari Forever. And while this one might be the "best" of the bunch, I'm starting to wonder...about the wonder. The fact is, we have all been here before. Literally.

"Katamari Forever" essentially repeats the stages from "Katamari Damacy" and "We Love Katamari". And when I say repeat, I mean it literally. You'll see a race stage. You'll see a sumo stage. You'll see a stage to create the moon. You'll see an underwater stage. Yes, the total number of stages are pretty staggering (and more so when one considers the different modes - more on that in a moment). But they are just like their earlier counterparts. OK - so the graphics are in HD. I wasn't aware that this game was selling itself on graphical prowess.

    But anyway, on to

    Pros:

    - Fun. This game is still fun. And while I have played nearly all of these stages before, it doesn't change the fact that it is a lot of fun to create a massive sumo that eats an entire town.
    - Game Modes. OK - Katamari Forever mode is what you expect, and if the whole game was simply this, it would rate 3 stars. But then, you unlock "Katamari Drive" mode, which puts everything into super speed. And honestly, this is what Katamari should be about. The super speed levels (and you can play them ALL in super speed) are, simply put, the most fun I've ever had playing Katamari. Play well enough here, and you can unlock Eternal mode, which allows you to roll as long as you want on any stage. It's great if you are wanting to complete your collection, but it's also nice if you just want to roll a really, REALLY big Katamari. Finally, you can unlock Classic Katamari mode, which essentially lets you play the stages without the new bells and whistles, and in the original graphics. This didn't wow me, but it was surprisingly different to be so similar.
    - Colorful. One thing about the great graphics we see on the PS - there is no real aesthetic beauty. In an attempt at realism, many games look bland, dark and dull. Not a problem with Katamari. While the graphics are nothing special, there is so much color that it astounds. All the colors of the rainbow.
    - Multiplayer. It's fun. I like both the co-op mode and the versus mode.
    - Trophies. They are tough, but well thought out.

    Cons:
    - Control. At times, you will be frustrated to no end with the control. Is this a ramp I can roll over? No - its simply a step that is destroying my katamari. I hate the sixaxis motion controls, and their use here is no exception. Thankfully, you need not use the silly motion to jump - there is a button command as well. Unfortunately, the hop never goes where you want, and is generally a pain in the rear.
    - Graphics. Yes, I like the color. But We can do more in our royal majesty. I mean, when you rehash levels, the least you can do is enhance the graphics. I do like the new graphics mode (although "comic" and "wood" leave me cold). But let's put a little more effort here, shall We?
    - Minigames. I generally like minigames. I only like one here (the "Beautiful Katamari" endgame, which is fantastic).
    - Price. Fifty bucks?!? Really?!?!?! I remember the original was twenty, immediately upon release! This seems a little steep. Still, you will be playing for a while, so maybe it isn't so bad.

All in all, I would recommend this game to fans and newbies. But if you weren't wowed by the original offerings, this isn't going to change your mind.

More of the same, for the 4th time.3
I was lucky enough to get the first Katamari game for the ps2 when it first came out, and experience it before seemingly everyone got Katamari fever. The game was completely original, fun, had an excellent soundtrack, and I place it in my top 10 ps2 games. It got a sequel fairly quickly, and then another one on the PSP a few years later. I enjoyed the PSP game a bit, though was a bit curious as to why so many levels from the first game (and apparently the second, though I never got to play it all the way through) were in there. Now with Katamari Forever, I can see that the developers don't know what to do with this franchise, and it's easy to see why the creator has moved on to other things- this is more of the same.

If you haven't played a Katamari game before, then you'll probably really enjoy this game, and can add another star to the rating. You play as the Prince, a little green guy who rolls around a Bumble Ball-looking object called a Katamari. You roll it around rooms, streets, towns, and over the entire world eventually, collecting everything in your path. Your Katamari will start out small, but can grow to be thousands of kilometers in size! An example being that you start out in someone's messy bedroom, but after you collect enough, you'll be big enough to pick up cars and people outside, and after that, you'll be picking up islands, boats and entire countries. When done in a level, your Katamari is used to create an object in space like a star, satellite or planet. It's totally fun, and somehow relaxing, though there are a few problems I'll get into in a bit. You control the Prince/Katamari with both analog sticks- if you want to move forward, you tilt both up, etc. You're collecting objects this time because your dad, the King of all Cosmos has lost his memory, and to have someone in his place temporarily, the Prince and his cousins made a robot king, but he's going a bit crazy. You'll be rolling up in levels for both the King and the RoboKing.

And here's where my problems kick in- the King's levels start out in black and white, which is cool because as you pick up more, the world comes into color, showing that he's regaining his memory. But from what I could tell, all of these levels are from the previous games. While that makes some sense because they're things that happened in the past, I see it as the developers just being cheap and not wanting to put time into creating original levels. There were many times when I thought to myself "hey, I played this in 2005". Again, if you haven't played the games before, it'll be no big deal, but for myself- some of these levels are making their appearance for the 5th time now (twice on the ps2, once on the PSP and maybe once on the Xbox360's game). Next, the camera is still just as bad as it was in the old games. Sometimes you'll get in front of a wall and the camera won't zoom in more, or do the nice x-ray thing it does every now and then, and you'll be trying to get your way around whatever it is you may be stuck on. There's also a lot of slowdown in some levels, which stuck me as odd considering how powerful the ps3 is, and how light this game is in the graphics department. If games like SoulCalibur 4 and Dead Space can play smoothly, why is Katamari Forever getting such bad slowdown here and there? Finally, get this- remember all the great songs from the first game? The same songs that got remixed and put in all the sequels? They've been remixed again and make up most of the soundtrack! Granted, 2 or 3 of the remixes are good, but once more, can we get something new PLEASE??

There are a few new things thrown in, but nothing too big. The Prince can now jump(!) with the Katamari if you press R2 or shake the controller. You're better off with R2 because everyone I know can never pull it off by shaking, and it's not the controller's fault either. This jump is useful but still has some control issues. There's also a multiplayer option- you can battle another player on the same console and try to roll up more objects than them or get a certain item before they do and hold it until time's up. Or you can play cooperatively and complete a level together...using the same Katamari. This is pretty clever but requires a lot of communication since one person controls the left side and the other controls the right. There are also a lot of Trophies you can get here to keep you busy, though a few require more patience than skill. And finally, I have to give them some credit for having a level where you roll around a sumo instead of a Katamari, and collect food to make him bigger in order to challenge another sumo. I can play that level at any time and still smile seeing this giant sumo rolling around with dogs and bikes stuck to it.

Don't get me wrong- I enjoyed playing this game, and I can't stress it enough when I say that if you've never played a game in the series before, the score gets an extra star. But after 5+ years, the series should be making progress- not be stuck with the same levels with a story of amnesia to be used as a cheap excuse for it. And at that price? Ouch. Either until it drops, or borrow it and then see how you like it. You'd think that with it being so close to the previous games, it could've stayed at their price points when they first came out too.

    Fun, charming old school RPG...5
Did you like the old console RPGs from the early 90s? Then you may like this, since it basically plays exactly like one, but with upgraded graphics (basically while the characters are still sprites, all the terrain is in 3d).

On the other hand, if you great up on PS2 style RPGs, with lots of cinematics, voice acting, and action based combat, then you will probably find this boring.

One nice thing is there are almost no loading times whatsoever, and if you have played the first two Legend of Heroes games and have savegames from it, you can access special stages in this.

    not bad4
i've been playing rpgs and mmorpgs for about fifteen years now, so i've seen alot of stuff come and go. i'm able to appreciate a simple game with a good story. i usually start to take a personal interest in the main character's development, and sometimes i'll get excited when he finally comes of age and starts to turn the tables around and kick some butt.
this is what has been the problem for me while i played through this game. the main character is too young, like fifteen, and he stays that way the entire story. i kept thinking that after the next significant plot advancement, there would be a time jump (like, 10 years later), and he and his female friend would be older/stronger/wiser. unfortunately i strung myself along all the way up to the end, and then was dissapointed that the game was ending and i didn't get what i wanted.
none of that stopped this from being a good game, and i recommend it to anybody looking for an enjoyable way to pass a few hours.

Legend of Heroes III is the awesome game!5
I really enjoyed to play this game even though I am female. XD Anyway, I had played Legend of Heroes: 1 - 3... I really enjoyed them a lot even 3 is a bit different. For finishing attack, you have to press button whenever you want to...for example, when a monster's turn to attack, you have to press button the character you selected so he/she will go forward and finish attack. I had been played this game for 5 times...and I didn't get tired. I really liked the storyline even though some of them are funny...at least to me. =)

In the beginning, you'll meet a blue-haired guy Forte, his grandpa McBain, a childhood friend pink-haired girl Una (who has crush on Forte) and a dog Jan. They begins on the quest to seeking Leone's Resonance Stones because of McBain's dreaming to play the song when all Resonance Stones are collected. You'll meet variable characters in the games, and they'll join in with you for battle. =)

If you had played previous games, you should purchase it.
If you really enjoy the RPG, then you should try it.
If you are not interested, do not waste your money on that game unless you want to rent.

    =D

The game features mission based gameplay as one of two playable characters, vice cop Jack Slate and his father's massive wolf-dog hybrid, Shadow. Playing as Jack Slate players have plenty of opportunity to use weapons, but true to his rough and tumble appearance players will also make maximum use of melee attacks. The game features extensive hand-to-hand fighting functionality, including numerous branching combos, blocks, counters and even the ability to toss enemies aside or into each other and use them as human shields. Playing as Shadow players have the dual ability to use either brutal animal attacks, quite literally going for the jugular, or utilize Stealth Mode, where Shadow uses his animal senses to find enemies that would otherwise remain hidden, and then take them out. In this mode Shadow can also lure enemies into dangerous proximity to his bone-crushing jaws with a variety of barks and calls, after he is done with them, dragging them into the shadows so as not to draw attention. In situations where gunplay takes center stage players utilize a cover system to blind-fire from around corners and from behind walls.

    Key Game Features

  • Two Playable Characters:
  • Vice-Cop Jack Slate – Pick off enemies with your side arm or get up close and personal and take them down with your bare hands.
  • Shadow – Sneak up on enemies and kill them silently, or rip into a group and flush them out for Jack to take down

  • Satisfyingly Brutal Disarms/Takedowns - In the face of danger, turn your enemies’ weapons against them with aggressive disarms or execute all-new lethal takedown moves.
  • Fluid Combat System - Seamlessly blends ranged combat with most robust brawling system ever seen in a shooter. Pump enemies full of bullets or destroy them up close…the choice is yours.
  • Intense Hand-to-Hand Combat:
  • Take on enemies with branching combos and counters or throw them into each other.
  • Engage multiple enemies at one time with the "360 hand-to-hand" feature.

  • Fast-Paced Gunplay - Shoot it out from cover, blind-fire around corners and use enemies as agile human shields or dynamic cover.
  • Captivating Neo-Noir Storyline:
  • Take on the Grant City underworld as vice-cop Jack Slate in an in-depth, character-driven storyline.
  • Combining classical storytelling with advanced game design techniques to immerse the player in a compelling journey.

    Game Storyline
Each faction that you can choose to take sides with has their own types and models of mobile suits, each with their own specific specialty and purpose. The two rival factions described in the game are the E.F.F (Earth Federation Forces) and the Principality of Zeon. Dynamic game play allows you to take sides with either faction.

    Gameplay
Powered by the PlayStation 3, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire throws you into the midst of futuristic war zones brought to life in ultra realistic graphics. Form your own mobile assault force, strategize their next moves and battle with them side by side while you command them to triumph.

The basic game objective is easy; blast through futuristic tanks and enemy structures, military aircraft, and rival mobile suits. The rival mobile suites form the bulk of the incoming opponents. You can see them moving on the horizon at the start of a mission, or you can spot their locations on your radar at the bottom of the screen.

One of the advanced aspects featured in Crossfire is the ability to inflict location-specific damage. You can fine-tune your aim to destroy specific parts of a single enemy unit. For example, if you want to disable a rival suit's laser sword, all you need to do is aim for his laser and shoot. The same goes for the feet, head and legs. Likewise, if you destroy a mobile suit's head, it will disable its ability to see.

Each mission starts with a short briefing, complete with maps and satellite imagery. When you're ready to play, choose which side of the war you want to join, and then play master to your mobile suits, and guide the ultimate weapons of war to victory.

Sorry Gundam fans, This game is terrible!1
You would expect a PS3 game to have amazing graphics, game play and be just plain fun. This is NOT that kind of game.
    The good news.
*There is a Gundam game for the PS3 and the Gundam suits look pretty good.
    *The opening cutscene looks amazing.
    The Bad news
*The opening cutscene looks nothing like the actual game. If all you care about is graphics, this is not the game for you. You would expect this game to be on the ps1 or even the Sega Saturn, but not the most powerful next gen system. The battle areas are bland, with no detail past the muddy looking ground and poorly animated trees. There are glitches everywhere in the game such as water going through trees and when your Mech tries to cross a bridge and falls in, the water just sits there. The other thing about the graphics is that the frame rate is clunky, it's as if you're constantly blinking and don't see every fluid movement. Only you're not blinking, you're seeing the actual game.
*The missions are straight forward and take no skill whatsoever considering the lock on system is more than accurate because you don't even need to face your enemy completely to hit them.
*The controls are mushy and don't respond well.
*It's tedious to make your Mechs and maintain them. When damage is done to them, YOU MUST repair them because you can't continue the game otherwise.
It's bad enough this game had to be released for the PS3. The very idea that people will buy this at launch makes me very very sad. This is not worth paying for a $[...] system and you should let this game collect dust on the shelf of your local game retailer.

Definitely Rushed for the PS3 Launch2
We are generally great fans of mech games, and have played many of them. We were psyched when Gundam came out for the PS3 - and very disappointed when we played it.

If you haven't watched the animated series or played other Gundam games, you are engaged in a great war involving a set of mechanised large robots fighting another set of almost identical large robots. They can stomp on tanks, kick over buildings and engage in hand to hand energy-sword combat. Think of gigantic samurai warriors who enjoy both blade and gun.

The two sides here are the Federation forces, protecting Earth against the Zeon - an Earth colony who has come back to Earth to take over. All of the fighting takes place in various locations on Earth, which by now has had half of its population wiped out by this fighting.

Don't worry too much about plotline here, though. Really what happens is you are dropped into a landscape and told to blow up every enemy unit you find. While most games give you training and guidance at the beginning, this game tosses you into the fray, without even a hint of what to do or how to do it. Expect to get a few sad deaths before you get the hang of things. Of course that's assuming you start out on the standard difficulty level - there are five difficulties here, including a 'very easy' suitable for 5 year olds.

Speaking of five year olds, the graphics really needed much more work to be up to PS3 standards. The mechs themselves are OK, with a fair amount of detail, shadowed edges, reflective surfaces little details of logo and lettering and battle scarring. There is a realistic feel to how they move.

On the other hand, the world you tromp around in is PS2 level in quality, if not a little worse. I've definitely seen better water animation in many PS2 games, as well as tree and landscapes.

Gameplay ranges from frustrating to laughable. You get stuck on invisible walls. When you slash at enemies, you go into the "black knight" of the Monty Python Holy Grail movie, where limbs fall off and the robot hobbles after you without any arms. You do get to upgrade as you progress, earning more options. You can customize your suits in your hangar - but the interface is very clunky and looks almost PS1 in style.

They do have some nice features that show some thought - if you fire off a rocket style weapon, a cloud of smoke envelops you and you have to wait a few seconds (or move out of it) before you can see well again.

I have to comment on sound because first, the voice actors in combat are very silly. Second, the soundtrack is almost *exactly* a rip-off from the Gladiator soundtrack. I own and love the Gladiator soundtrack and it's amazing how many sections are pretty much exactly the same. I'm surprised there isn't a copyright suit being launched here.

In addition, we had problems with stuttering sound, to the point that we had to reboot our PS3 and try again. Luckily, it went away once we did that.

In general, this was just not a fun game for us to play, which was a real disappointment. Maybe a future release for the PS3 will have the time spent to fix many of these issues and draw us into playing it repeatedly, like we play our other mech games.

    Definitely not a showcase for PS3 power....2
I like battling giant robots, and in this respect the game is pretty good, but the graphics are really a huge letdown. As another reviewer said, it looks like it came out of a PS1, and that's true, textures are murky, robot models are angular and low on detail... As one of the console's launch titles, it must be kept far far away from any demonstration booths...

    Fun, but unrealised potential3
As a PSP fan and bike enthusiast I was hoping this would bring my passions together. However, while its certainly quite entertaining, it doesn't get the heart beating faster. For example, with 'brake assist' turned on (a requirement to get used to the game) it becomes easy to the point of monotony and doesn't do justice to the PSP platform; with this feature turned off, it becomes outrageously hard. It feels like this is a 'version 1' to test out what the playing-public like. If that were the case, I'd be prepared to take a chance on the next release. I don't regard my money buying this as wasted, but I'd recommend buying second-hand (as I did) in order to feel like you're get good value.

    Hard to control the bikes2
Previously I played Moto GP on my Sanyo cell phone for Sprint, and although it was crude it was fun. The PSP version, unfortunately, is very difficult to play because it's impossible to control the bikes. Even when the speedometer says 100 mph, the game feels slow. Recently I played Burnout Legends and Need for Speed Carbon on the PSP and the framerate of these two games was just great -- you'd feel like driving fast even at 80 mph. Moto GP sucks.

    moto gp psp 065
This game is really cool because one of my friends have this game. In this game it has all the 32 riders.Iam going to get this game soon. This game also includes the sport bikes honda yamaha suzuki kawasaki and etc. Iam a big race fan of moto gp and sport bikes.
This game is the atomic bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Very disappointing compared to BT33
I run a DBZ News Channel on YouTube and for the last 5 months I've been mostly reporting and anticipating what I thought would be the best game ever.

I was VERY disappointed in this game. Now I played the Wii version of Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and after playing this. Wow. I'm disappointed.

    PROS:
    - The graphics are great.
    - Option to switch to Japanese audio
    - Plenty to do (modes)
    - Stages are larger
    - Online World Tournament can be fun
    - Super Attack Customization

    CONS (ESPECIALLY LACK OF DEPTH):
    - They took out way too many combos from BT3, it's ridiculous. YOU END UP DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN, USUALLY SUPER ATTACKS. There's just no depth to this game, (there was a bit more in BT3) and I just got bored spamming Super Attacks.
    - The camera in battle is just really awful, you're going to get horrible angles almost every fight that ruins the fun.
    - There are way less characters and stages, and some important characters like Ultimate Gohan are gone.
    - There is framerate problems and unresponsive control problems, doing Super Rising only works like 1/2 the time.
    - Everything is more stiff and much slower-paced than BT3.
    - The Story Mode combines the worst elements of BT2 and BT3. BT2's story mode was incredibly long, but well told. BT3's story mode was incredibly short, but poorly told (although it wasn't trying to, which was fine and enjoyable by me). Dragon Battle Collection IS LONG AND POORLY TOLD. To even get the story you have to read a paragraph recap.
    - Collecting stars by replaying each Story Mode battle 3 times just isn't worth it.
    - The controls are completely revamped, and in my opinion are not as good.
    - I have a great internet connection and there was many communication errors while playing Online Mode, although there wasn't lag it was just hard to actually get to a battle.
    - Playing Online may not be worth it because your opponent is most likely going to spam Super Attacks, which I can't blame since there's barely anything else you can do.
    - Super Battle Trial is incredibly tedious to complete.
    - Not enough new things added. Super Rising, Crashing into Walls, 2 new stage destructibility features and a really gimmicky weather change is it.

I'm disappointed in this game. Raging Blast 2 better be awesome, or its back to Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for me.

this made me regret spending $50+ bucks on it2
I wanted a DBZ game for my PS3 and after finding out it had a bit more sagas than Burst Limit, I got this.

The camera angles are beyond terrible. Good luck to anyone focusing on your opponent when you end up near a wall.

Buttons/commands won't work most of the time and that really sucks when you need them the most.

There is only ONE set of combos per character so 9 times out of 10 you'll end up using Super attacks just to finish the battle.

No screams when they power up. wtf it just looks hella weird.

Battles/playing with characters in the story mode idgaf about. (I really could have cared less about Yamcha/Tien/Chiaotzu fighting a dead Ginyu Force)

Not worth replaying the story mode over and over to get stars. (Goku's alternate outfits are not THAT important)

WAIT until this game is 19.99$ or less, or wait for the sequal which is hopefully 100x better

    good game4
I really loved the sequel DBZ on playstation. when this new one came out, I was in the first rank to order it. When I began to play it, I found it very difficult because most of the button's function changed and I found it hard for me to get used to it, but in the end, after days playing and playing, I was finally used to it. I really love the fact that you have a lot of worlds you can play in it and change in some extent the story but what i hate the most is probably how the screen is divided when playing the vs mode with your friend even if I kind of understand why they did that and also when in the same mode, it is sometimes difficult to rotate the camera and find yourself after falling in the sea or behind a building... (or maybe it's me that needs more practice...lol..).............In conclusion, I can say that this game is very entertaining and its new features make it more enjoyable for everyone.

    Great Collection5
I don't own this bundle, but I have all three games that are included. I will describe this game one by one.

Tekken Tag Tounament- This game is a lot like the 3 before it. At the select screen, you choose two fighters (I usually went with Hwoarang and Yoshimitsu) and at any time in the fight you can tag your character to fight. First one down determines the fight. You have an option to play the classic style of fighting.

Tekken 4- This game is my favorite in the series (haven't played Tekken 6 yet). This introduced boundaries to stages so you can corner your enemy and beat them down. What makes this one different from the others is that you can move (not attack) before the fight is announced. You will have a lot of fun with this one.

Soul Calibur 2- This is by far the best game in the bundle. This is like Tekken but you have different weapons to play with. Yoshimitsu is also in the series. In this game they had characters specific to which version you buy, the PS2 version had Heihachi (from Tekken again), the Gamecube version had Link (Legend of Zelda), and I forgot which one was on the Xbox version. As you progress through the game, you unlock different weapons to fight with. They are the same kind of weapon the character is used to, but they have different abilities. One will have less attack and gain back lost health while another one inflicts more damage while your health slowly drains away.

I would recommend getting this if you have never played any of these games, or if you traded them in and want to play them again.
