Solid Mic - Does Not Work With GH5
This mircophone feels solid in your hand, and works with my PC (Vista). The good people at GameStop seamed to think this microphone would work with Guitar Hero 5 on PS3, but it did not. Tried plugging it in both while the PS3 was off as well as after it was on and Guitar Hero 5 game was on.

Great value for the price, if you love fighting games.
Works well with fighters on all three current boxes (PS2, X, and Cube), but quickly makes you realize how far we've come from the classic arcade experience. Twelve years ago, I absolutely loved my Nintendo/Sega arcade style joysticks for all gaming types. But today, this bulky, one stick, eight identical buttons control can feel very alien when replacing the XBOX or PS2 handheld controls that have come to feel so natural. It's good as advertised, for arcade style fighting games (Virtual Fighter, DOA, Soul Caliber, etc...) and nostalgia, especially if you have multiple consoles and limited space. Others need not bother even considering this purchase.

Universal Arcade controller
This Product was fun while it lasted. With in a few game session of SF 3rd strike the joystick managed to break off and I had to use super glue to get back into the game. I also bought this mainly for my Xbox console but it just didn't want to work with my Xbox. No issues while using it with my PS2 though. Response is great with this product in comparison to my gamester arcade stick. all the points in the joystick respond with no issues...don't have to be 100% on point. all in all it was a great product while it lasted and I hope the improve on the build quality of there products

Best decision for many component inputs...
I got this to help make life simpler for my home theater. I don't have DVI or HDMI so that was not an issue. This box has 5 component inputs (which also have S and composite). In addition it has optical inputs for the first 3 inputs and coaxial for all 5. Now with my Comcast, DVD. Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube, switching the TV and audio receiver is a snap. One input on the TV and one auto switching input on my receiver is all I need. The remote is small (but not as small as the first version of this box). The signals are clean coming out of the box and my wife is happy that she does not need a cheat sheet to work the TV!

The box is nice looking (I got black). The only (very) small drawback is that all the optical jacks are a too little close so one of my older cables had a big plastic (cosmetic) housing on it and it did not play nice with the other connectors. I replaced it and I was all good.

This is a great box!

Amazing
This product is amazing, besides giving me the option of 6 inputs for all my Video systems. It has a wide range of output selection giving you only the best quality of both sound and video. This product is amazing and works under any type of situation, can be left on constantly doesn't heat up at all and makes no noise. I recommend this product to anyone who's looking for an alternative to hooking up mulitple systems to one or many sources, What's more amazing is TIVO the company use's this product also so you know it has high quality.

Best Old School AV Selector Out There
It has loads of connections. No HDMI, DVI or VGA but it does have a IR remote for switching inputs. Logitech supports the device on it's harmony RF remote. You won't be disappointed if you do your homework on the device first.

Gets the job done for not alot of mulah.
Ok, first of all the item is not as bad as some of these reviewers have written. I went out of my way to get a second one as I have NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox360, and a PS2 with a PS3 in the pipe. Both work flawlessly.

Here's the skinny... it's a switchbox... not a processor. It's 20 bucks... not 120.

That said you will have about a 0.5% signal loss (about a dB in signal) going through the unit. Unless you have a really nice HD TV and know where every pixel on the screen is going to be and at what time... you're not going to notice the loss. It does work in HD. The guy who says it doesn't should try fiddling with his settings. If the console and TV aren't configured correctly it will look very bad. All the box is is a physical switcher... wire for wire... and a solid one at that. I dropped mine on a concrete floor while moving and it took it smiling. The lack of completeness on the nameplates for the front is the only packaging complaint of mine. Most people that will use these are hardcore enthusiasts that will likely still have some of the older systems. At any rate... it's worth the money. If you're worried about signal loss then you can go ahead and buy one of the state of the art combiners and signal regenerators that will give you the best possible picture on a single mixed-down set of outputs. If you can afford the TV that would make a noticeable difference in this then you can afford to not bargain bin on your cables and switches anyways. (gold plated connectors are just an excuse to charge you more.. gold is actually a worse conductor than copper is.. worse than the alloys they use on this stuff nowdays, even... it just doesn't corrode. If you take care of your stuff you won't have that problem anyways.)

My only physical complaint about the unit is that it only has 3 component inputs and not 4 of them. The fourth input is composite/s-video, though, and better than most switches composite-only fourth port. I'll be buying a third and fourth one of these to handle the mix-down of the few consoles I'm adding in the future as they do not make, currently, a 12 port component switch... which is what I need.

Excellent for those with too many devices
Before we picked up our Xbox 360, we were already maxed out on the input ports of our home theatre system. This device, though, helped us piggyback our 360 in with our Playstation 2 connection with no noticeable loss of quality. It has both component and composite inputs (great if you have multiple devices with more than one output type), as well as interchangeable labels for each input. It's all mechanical, so there's no power connection necessary.

The one way it could have been better would have been if it included optical audio ports, but I understand that is much more complex technology and requires more expensive components. Aside from that, though, it has worked absolutely perfectly for me!

A Steal At 20 Bucks!
I've had this for a year and a half (I have my XBOX 360, PS2, Gamecube, and DVD player hooked up to it) and it works just fine! Don't belive the review that it doesn't work on HD (it's also hooked up to my HDTV with NO compromise of picture quality at all!) It's amazing that this works so well being the fact that the exterior of the unit is almost made entirely of plastic....the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars.

Do NOT buy this!!
I have used these in the past, and I thought they worked fine. That is UNTIL ... I don't know what happened, and NOW the two that I have (one on an Xbox and one on N64) are all the sudden not allowing the cable to come through. Don't waste your money.. buy something that will work for more than a few months.

Works Great.
Although I think the seller should be more descriptive in the item page, the product shipped fast and works perfectly.

The cable is in no way distorted when using the RF swtich, and the picture comes out fine. It works for my GCN/Xbox, I don't have a PS1/2 to try it out with.
