Pretty Great For Your NFL Fanatics5
I bought this controller for my Colts Loving Boyfriend who has a anger problem when it comes to Madden and "Spikes" his controllers. Of course I didnt take this into consideration until I already bought it, but hopefully knowing that if he spikes this controller, I'll spike his rear will help him towards his recovery. As far as the PS Home button, the START button, and the SELECT button (I think thats what their called - I'm Nintendo all the way) are on the handles, PS on the left above "COLTS" and the other 2 above the helmet. It DOESN'T look cheat at all, like how with some you can literally peel off the "stickers". This one is really authentic and worth the money.

    nice product5
The product is what they say it is and the look is what i had expected and more.

Thanks so much for finding this product for me. I had given this to my grandson for Christmas with a picture of it. I was afraid I was not going to be able to find it, but you did. Thank You, Thank you. His reaction was priceless.

Disappointing, but not the hot mess the QQ'ers make it out to be3
    The Good:

LOTS of characters to play, with plenty of depth and technical mastery required to truly master the game. If memorizing complex juggles, 5-10 hit combos, safe/unsafe moves, and the frame data for your moves and the moves of your opponents sounds like 'good times' for you then this game has got you covered.

    The Bad:

Everything else. The graphics look waxy and dated compared to other recent releases (SC4 which was released by the same company...), the scenario campaign is a tedious grind--hint: choose Devil Jin as your free unlockable and thank me later--although it's not the torture others make it out to be, and most are reporting the online play is laggy (although I didn't notice it the few times I went online to remind myself that I am a horrible Kazuya player).

    Final verdict:

The hardcore purists will enjoy the game for it's depth and steep skill requirement--and be frustrated with the online play, but those of you just looking for a pretty game to sit on the couch and button-mash with your girlfriend, you might want to skip this one.

One of best fighting games ever!!5
This is a great fighting game.

First of all, online mode was patched!! I was waiting for online update. First time
tekken 6 came out, online was laggy(still fun, though) but after update, it works great. Almost
arcade level. I am very happy with it.

Graphic is not the best but looks clean and vivid.
I like the sound. Music in the game is beautiful, sometimes combative.
Gameplay is the best. Doing combo on each character is funny and serious.

go Online and play with others!!

    Bittersweet for me2
I wanted to wait at least a week after buying this game to post a review, and I'm glad I did. I've seen reviews ranged from glowing to garbage, and after a week with it I can see why the reactions are so varied.

THE GOOD: Graphics are beautiful. I have both SC4 and Tekken6, and I personally think the movement and details on T6 outshine SC4. That's not a popular opinion, but I think it's quite obvious to me. The fighting mechanics and buttons are classic Tekken, and the ability to customize buttons is much appreciated. Characters are extremely individual, with different styles, moves, responses, looks, all unique to each character. Even with that, fights are extremely fair, with almost everyone able to grab a character and have fun (except against skilled players of Tekken, which I am not). The massive amount of costume customization options is incredible.

THE BAD: The campaign mode is horrible. Do we really need cinematic cutscenes every five seconds? Hello, Metal Gear Solid 2, anyone? The concept of the campaign mode is great, the fighting and execution remain annoying. I never tried online play, so I can't really say anything about lag when playing online. Load times are appalling. Whoever decided it would be a good idea to force you to rechoose your character and reload your fighter, your opponent, and your scene WHEN CONTINUING A FIGHT EACH AND EVERY TIME, EVEN IF YOU'RE KEEPING EVERYTHING THE SAME (!) should be demoted. Or fired. After the thirtieth time I'm fighting Azazel, I already know to "get ready for the next battle!" and that I'll be fighting the final boss Azazel; I really don't need you to make me hear and see this every single time I continue. Just let me continue and jump right back into the fight rather than make me wait longer than the fight will actually take while things are reloading. Thanks. And that dizzying array of costume customization pieces? They cost a freaking fortune, each and every one. Good luck earning enough fight money to buy even ten of them.

THE UGLY: Azazel has finally displaced MK2's Kintaro as the cheapest, most aggravating boss I've ever had the misfortune to play against. I've played video games for over thirty years, and I'm pretty darn good at beating them, including the hard ones like the original Ninja Gaiden. But I flat out cannot beat Azazel. His reach is insane, his moves are beyond cheap, he does roughly 75% of his damage while you're on the ground or in the air, and he has multiple ranged attacks that no playable character can try to match. Oh, and the cute teleport move is a joy, especially when he/she/it flies around you and hits you in the back when you're already moving to intercept it. Fighting defensively worked best, but he always gets me with a cheap juggle or his teleport.

So, my final verdict for Tekken 6 is that this is an absolutely beautiful game with amazing graphics and a terrific fight system right up until the last two bosses. The costume pieces would look lovely, but only if you could actually afford to equip them. I'm not going to spend the next two years fighting to earn enough money to equip my characters the way I'd really like them to be. If you're an experienced Tekken player who loves a challenge, then this game will probably be a 4- or 5-star title for you. For everyone else, it's 2 stars. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep mine to play with my friends or if I'm going to sell it or trade it in. It's sort of a toss-up right now. What I'm sure of is that this game wasn't worth full price. Save your money and buy a used copy in a few weeks, because there are going to be LOTS of them for sale.

Easily accessible for beginners, much depth for veterans.4
Tekken had once been a favorite of mine back in the PS1 days. I played Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 religously with a group of friends. I then skipped out on Tekken 4 and 5. With the hype of Street Fighter IV rekindling my interest in fighting games, I decided to go with the LE Version of Tekken 6 to get the fight stick to play it with.

    Tekken 6:
+ Easy for the inexperienced button-mashers to play
+ A very large roster of characters with varied fighting styles.
+ New moves and rythms for veterans to discover and experiment with.
+ No time need be wasted unlocking fighters, but plenty of unlockable costumes
+ Fun story mode offer's adventure and a break from the 1-on-1 fighting.
+ Online play is now great since the recent Patch

    - Gameplay is slower than it's contemporaries.
    - Graphics are really not very impressive.
    - Load times seem to be long even after installing.

    LE bundle contents:
+ The fight stick is very easy to sync and set up
+ The fight stick has a good solid feel
    + No discernable input lag
+ High quality, hardcover art book is interesting to page through.
+ Fighting Stick can be used on PC games
+ Multiple wireless fighting sticks can be used at once

    - No bluetooth, requires dongle
    - Wireless Makes Fight Stick useless for tournaments
    - Stock Hori parts can feel vague, buttons can be mushy.
    - Fight Stick is not easily modified.
    - Questionable Value at $150 (very much worth it at Amazon's discounted prices in the gold box though!!)

    THE GAME: 8/10

Tekken 6 gave no trouble for me to get into after abandoning the Tekken series for the last several iterations. The gameplay felt familiar and I was pulling off some old staple moves and combos with Paul and Heihachi in no time.

Tekken is unique in that it uses more directional taps and button+direction type moves rather the all the directional charges, half circle and quarter circle of SF. Tekken has a unique button layout, assigning one button to each limb. This making combos and moves easier to replicate simply by witnessing them. It also is different in that blocking is achieved by standing or crouching in a neutral direction. additionally, The game plays more like a 2D/3D hybrid rather than using full free 3D movement like Soul Calibur, primarily reserving 3D movements for quick sidesteps and evasion rolls.

Combos are still easy enough for beginners to pull off. Tekken allows liberal juggeling of airborne opponents, which further sets it apart from it's competition. You can easily get 2-3 juggle hits on your opponent nearly every time you strike them or bounce them up in the air. However, the big 10 hit combos and the more technical moves simply won't happen by accident and take practice to not only know how to do them, but when.

Tekken 6 offers a "story campaign" mode, in the vein of the the Tekken force modes first seen in Tekken 3. While this mode does add more content to the game and help to flesh out the story, it doesn't play all that well. I found the Tekken Force mode of Tekken 3 much more enjoyable. Tekken 3 offered co-op right from the start, but not so in this campaign story mode. The hybrid 3d controls are ambitious, but flawed. Taking on multiple attackers is confusing as the targeting system is not very good. You must press R1 to switch targets repeatedly until your character faces the correct one. This can take sever cycles and leave you open to attack. The Campaign Story is a nice side-element to the game, but don't get the idea that it is the focus of Tekken 6 no matter how much Namco hyped it. The real game still lies in the Arcade and Vs. modes.

The online mode is not all that I would have hoped for in regard to performance. I have noticed games to be very laggy, only getting one good game out of maybe 10 at this point. It is frustrating, as I am a decent tekken player, but I lose to people using stale moves because my timing is blown from the latency maing it difficult to use counter and parrying. Essentially, this ruins the complexity of the game online and dumbs it down to just timing simple button-press combos. When I do get a good connection, it's great, but at this point I plan to do most of my vs. matching locally.

The online also allows you to save replays, which I am surprised it took this long for a fighting game to add. occassionally you will fight a laggy opponent, but when you both have good connections the game feels good. Perhaps not quite as good as SF IV's online feels, but on par with Soul Calibur's if not better.

Another area where Tekken 6 is a bit lackluster is in the visuals. The graphics look almost last gen. Some of the broken paralex stages just look bizzare. Comparing this game to Soul Calibur IV, which came out last year from the same publisher, it falls short. Character models almost seem to look polygonal, which I thought was gone from this gen of consoles. It is certainly not awful, but after seeing Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, SC IV and Modern Warfare 2, this game just seems very unpolished.Fortunately, great graphics aren't needed for fun gamepaly. Tekken 6 shines in it's accessability and smooth controls. It's any every-man's fighting game.

Tekken online has more features than Soul Calibur IV, but does not hold up to the performance of SF IV, SC IV or Blaze Blue. I won't be giving up SF IV for this, but Soul calbur IV will be gathering dust for a bit. Overall I would give Tekken an 8/10 due to the robust content, with a tilt of 7/10. It's a step up, but not the big improvement some may have hoped for. However, if you're like me and had been out of Tekken for years, this is much greater than Tekken 3 or 4, but only a minor improvement over Tekken 5.

    LIMITED EDITION: 7/10

So, I'll get this gripe off my chest first. It is utterly ridiculous to use bluetooth if no accessories can use it. Sony needs to start allowing licensed products to use Bluetooth. That would have made this the perfect wireless stick. Since it uses a dongle, the stick will not work with PS2 games currently if you have a BC PS3. I was hoping to be able to play R-Type Final and Contra: SS with this, but it is just not possible currently.

That being as it may, The dongle is only a slight annoyance. Hori at least made synchronizing it as simple as pushing the X button. The arcade stick uses 2 AAs which may seem bad at first, but it does allow a longer battery life than if it were to use Lithium Ion like the Dual Shock 3. I have not noticed a hint of controller lag either.

Make no mistake though, this is closer to the Fighting Stick 3 than an HRAP3. The buttons have a decent feel, but can be a bit mushy at times. Replacing with high quality parts would be no simple task. The internal parts are not readily accessable since hori used a tri-wing screw type. Buttons are soldered to the PCB and the stick is not easily replaced due to the battery location and very slim profile case. Modding it can be done, but it will not be easy. This stick emphasizes convenience over durability and performance, and really it does quite well with that. To most gamers this will be far better than the control pad. Personally I am happy with it, even with it's shortcomings.

The Art book really looks nice and is a Hardcover. It has some info on the characters and how they were conceived. A nice compliment to the game for Tekken fans.

The added price of the LE bundle is worth it if you are looking to get an arcade stick and don't plan on entering tournaments or, if like me, you simply wanted the convenience of wireless stick. Otherwise, choose the Hori HRAP3 SA or Madcatz TE sticks if you don't mind the wire. As with all arcade sticks, transitioning from a control pad will be akward at first, but it will allow you much higher potential for fighting games. I have noticed having a fighting stick makes those who you would normally be turned off by the complexity of the DS3 jump right into playing on the more purpose-built, simpler arcade stick. Having 2 fight sticks is a blast for parties or family get togethers.

Great Bundle.... Especially for under eighty dollars5
First off do not listen to all the Tournament Edition Arcade Stick fanboys on the internet. This wireless stick is a quite good stick.

It is not as nice or good as the Tournament Edition ones, but it is not supposed to be.

I also have a Marvel vs Capcom Tournament Edition Arcade Stick and though it is much better I highly recommend the wireless tekken 6 one as a second, or to those who are not into fighting games enough to blow a buck fifty on just a stick......... With the prices Amazon has you get a game and a stick for almost half the price.......And the art book no one cares about.

The wireless has yet to cause me any problems, nor have the stick or buttons.... When and if they do I will swap everything out for Sanwa Parts, though this stick is a little harder than some it shouldnt be a problem for anyone who has modded one before or has basic soldering and reading skills.

I really enjoy this stick and find it great for friends to use so they dont tear up my Tournament Edition...... Do not beleve everything you read, this is far from a crap stick. Some people are just too far on Mad Catz pole to realize it.

Oh and the game is good too, lol

    Fantastic for the price4
I purchased this during the Todays deal Price.
    What a DEAL!!!
I am very impressed with this set.
The box is huge and contains a Tekken six Hard cover Art Book! Seriously impressive!
The control pad is larger than I thought. It also comes with a receiver to plug in your Ps3 to make it wireless, NICE!
The control pad takes 2 double A batteries not included according the the white insert....However I did find batteries were included!!!

The box this comes in is also impressive. and well packed! I can't however say much good for Amazons packing.

Amazon packaging is never adequate. There is always just one small strip of sealed air fill in the box and only on one side. I think Amazon needs to seriously protect larger more expensive, heavy items with bubble wrap. The Box the merchandise came in was damaged from UPS's tossing. I'm sure if this item would have had even paper packaging to support the sides top and bottom this could have been avoided. I will not order expensive items from Amazon if the shipping department will not do the job they need to do. This seems to occur on all packages. Very disappointing.

With a reported budget of $172 million, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines starts in high gear and never slows down. The apocalyptic "Judgment Day" of T2 was never prevented, only postponed: John Connor (Nick Stahl, replacing T2's Edward Furlong), now 22 and disconnected from society, is being pursued yet again, this time by the advanced T-X, a sleek "Terminatrix" (coldly expressionless Kristanna Loken) programmed to stop Connor from becoming the savior of humankind. Originally programmed as an assassin, a disadvantaged T-101 cyborg (Arnold Schwarzenegger, bidding fond farewell to his signature role) arrives from the future to join Connor and his old acquaintance Kate (Claire Danes) in thwarting the T-X's relentless pursuit. The plot presents a logical fulfillment of T2 prophesy, disposing of Connor's mother (Linda Hamilton is sorely missed) while computer-driven machines assume control, launching a nuclear nightmare that Connor must survive. With Breakdown and U-571 serving as worthy rehearsals for this cautionary epic of mass destruction, director Jonathan Mostow wisely avoids any stylistic connection to James Cameron's Terminator classics; instead he's crafted a fun, exciting popcorn thriller, humorous and yet still effectively nihilistic, and comparable to Jurassic Park III in returning the Terminator franchise to its potent B-movie roots. --Jeff Shannon

    From The New Yorker
"Ah'll be beck," Arnold Schwarzenegger said in the first "Terminator" picture, in 1984, and Schwarzenegger is not a man to renege on his promises. In fact, as you watch him clamber into the old black leathers for the third time and cock his weapon of choice, you could be excused for feeling that he's never been away. This latest and stalest installment of the "Terminator" saga is directed not by James Cameron, the father of the franchise, but by Jonathan Mostow; he does a dogged job, and you can see where the money went (a hundred and seventy million dollars, apparently), but in the process, the lurking threat of the earlier movies has been squeezed out. One mystery remains: was it commercial good sense, or mere cynicism, to have the plot of Mostow's film so gleefully replicate that of "Terminator 2: Judgement Day"? The new nemesis is a gleaming female cyborg named T-X (Kristanna Loken), who spurns all emotion save for a sudden, violent attraction to a giant magnet. Meanwhile, the fate of the world rests in the hands of a young couple (Claire Danes and Nick Stahl), who seem understandably peeved at the responsibility. As for the machines of the subtitle, to what position, exactly, have they risen? Are they running the studio? -Anthony Lane

    T3 in HD5
I am a big fan of the terminator series. I think the story is one of the best ever concieved as it has alot to do with whats really going on in the world. Will artificial intelligence ever reach a point were it becomes self aware? Its a very interesting question and I think that is one of the reasons why it has been so successful as a series. This is also one of the only trilogys that I feel still has alot of potential for future movies. I think we really need a terminator film that is actually set in the future where the terminators live and with the recent announcment of T4 most likly being made, hopefully we will get just that.

As for T3, it is without a doubt the worst film of the 3 but with that being said I still really enjoyed this film. Alot of the people that disliked it did so because they said it went back on everything that was established in T2. I am not one of these people and I really like the aspect of this film that turned around and said Judgement day is inevitable. Its without a doubt the single best twist to this entire story in my opinion because in reality it really is. Technology will continue to drive forward with computers getting better and better and no matter what you do to stop it, someone else will pop up and continue the research and development. Its basically where we are today with technology. There is no stopping the advancment that we see taking place on almost a daily basis. If one company were to stop develpment in a certain area, someone else would just pop up and take that companies or persons place.

Anyways that is really why I liked this film so much. It took the series in a completly new direction by stating that there was no way to stop it while the first two movies focused on what to do to actually stop it. With that being said this movie had its flaws and it just isnt on the same level that T1 & T2 are on. Its still a highly entertaining action film with some great performances and a great ending that perfectly sets up the Terminator film that I am dying to see, the one set in the wasteland of the future. Hats off to Arnold as well who really busted his butt to get into killer shape for this film so he wouldnt look any different than he did during the first 2 films. He pulled it off without a hitch. Just another testament to that guys ability to work his body and get into killer shape.

    Anyways on to the HD-DVD...

There were a few people on the HD forums that were disappointed in this transfer as it didnt show the amount of detail that some of the better transfers have shown. While it is true that this transfer doesnt have the detail present in some of the other transfers like Aeon Flux, Batman Begins and Sahara, it is still a great looking film and a big improvment overthe SD version. One of the thing you have to take into account is the fact that certain films just translate over to HD with much better results than others do. T3 was shot using Super35 and to sum up the Super35 process, it doesnt use as much area on the negative that regular anamorphic does thus you have a slight loss of detail compared to those that use standard anamorphic. With Super35 you also have to make intermediate prints to get the transfer onto a film that can be used in theatres. Everytime you make an intermediate print you lose resolution and detail. So to sum it up as I really dont want to get into a big technical discussion on Super35 and the other film processes. Super35 just does not have the image quality that regular anamorphic does period. T3 is a super35 film thus when you transfer the t3 film onto HD it just isnt going to look as sharp as a lot of the other films that arent Super35. Some of the main characteristics of Super35 are increased grain and less detail, both which are present in the HD transfer of T3.

With that being said, T3 still looks great and is a vast improvment over the SD version. I am actually a fan of increased graain as long as it doesnt look noisy which in this case it doesnt. It adds a disticnt look to the film. As much as some people would love for every film to look like the Batman Begins of Aeon Flux transfer, its just a bad idea. To make evey film look the same would be like taking all of the artistic possibilites of film and throwing them down the toilet. Its good that films look different because it would be a very boring world of cinema if everything looked the same. Just image what Tim Burtons Sleepy Hollow would look like if he used the same film and process used for Batman Begins. It would have absolutly destroyed the film and would have taken all of the spooky atmoshpere away. He purposly used cross processing to make all of the colors washed out and to make it more grainy and more contrasty. That film also looks great on HD-DVD but like T3 doesnt have a transfer that shows as much detail as some of the other transfers.

The sooner everyone relaizes that not every film is supposed to have incredible detail, vivid colors, & natural contrast. Films differ by the processes used to make the film and those differences in process equate to a difference in characteristics in a HD transfer. You have to educate yourself on just what processes were used for each particular film and only then can you make an educated critique of a particular films HD transfer.

To sum this up, T3 is certainly not a disc you want to pop in when your trying to show someone just how much detail can be seen in a HD movie. It was filmed in Super35 thus it was never trying to be a film that had a crazy amount of detail in the print. With that being said, T3 is a great transfer that is accurate to its master print. Its a big improvment over the SD version and its a great film which hopefully leads the series to a 4th film which is set in the future. I know I wont ever be done with the idea of a new Terminator flick until that particular story has been told. Here is to hoping they get around to making that happen.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines being replaced by Warner5
I give the film five stars, because I like the movie. About the 1080i issue: if you own an incorrect T3 Blu-Ray disc, you can call Warner's customer service number at 1-800-553-6937 for an exchange.

    A review from someone who's actually SEEN it . . .5
I went to an advance screening last night. My expectations were pretty low, given the lack of James Cameron at the helm and the span of years that have passed since T2. My biggest concern going in was that it would just be a Terminator vs. Terminator rehash with no real contribution to the story arc of Cameron's universe. My fears were unfounded, however. Jonathan Mostow has done an admirable job of capturing the audacious action and dark humor of the first two movies, while still managing to provide enough new twists to keep this third incarnation fresh. Yes, there's a lot of T-101 vs. T-X insanity, but these sequences are so well-executed and so over the top you can't help but laugh with glee. Kristanna Loken is every bit as scary as Robert Patrick was in the second installment, to the point where during one scene the girl next to me actually screamed in terror. The script, while a bit light on character development, offers plenty of great moments, both frightening and humorous. There are also many smart and unexpected references to the earlier films to tie everything together. Best of all, without giving anything away, important things happen. Things you'll want to see and know about if you are a fan of the first two films. My only gripe is that certain elements of the plot (which I can't reveal) aren't adequately explained. Perhaps those explanations wound up on the cutting room floor and we'll get them on the DVD. However, by the time that classic Terminator theme faded in and the credits rolled, I was very happy with the experience and my doubts about this third chapter in the series were put to rest. This film is about more than cashing in on a successful franchise. They've tried to do justice to the series' legacy and, in my opinion, they've succeeded.

It works... just not all the time.3
I have a TV with only one HDMI input... what a drag to have to switch cables when you want to do Hi-DEF gaming and Blu-Ray with the awesome ps3 on your HDTV that already has the cable box hooked to it.

In comes the neat little JoyTec HDMI Trilink. The thought process is right... it allows you to hook-up three separate HDMI sources to your TV with only one HDMI input. It even has a nice little basic remote and an attachment which allows you leave the unit hidden and still receive signal from the remote. I even setup my universal remote to control the unit.

The problem is that I keep having problems... Sometimes it's no sound and sometimes it's no picture. To make it worse... no one thing fixes it... sometimes it's as simple as changing the channel on the cable... other times I actually have to restart the little unit (mostly I have to restart the little unit). And since I have it hidden with the rest of the cords... I have to move my entertainment center out to get to the unit. Needless to say... it's a pain when you want to watch something right then... or have company over.

If you're willing to deal with the crap... it's excellent for the price you pay for it since I haven't found anything else more reasonably priced. But, if you can (meaning you can afford something else)... skip this one... if not, it's worth having over nothing at all.

    Didn't work; No support1
From my cable box, the picture cut in and out, and from my PC, the picture had lots of artifacting. With direct connections, they worked fine. I emailed Joytech support twice in the last three weeks with no response yet.

    It's ok...1
I have three devices hooked into this little switch: DirecTV HD-10, a PC via DVI to HDMI converter, and a 360. It works as advertised as long as you don't breathe in its general direction. If you do, the picture more often than not will not come up until you go jiggle the cables leading into it. It's a real pain, but at the time, it was far and away the cheapest thing I could find that had three ports. Times have changed, and now so am I. I'm writing this review as I'm searching for something to replace this PoS
