WARNING! This is the sequel, NOT the original!
I didn't want to downgrade a game just because of Amazon's mislabeling. Anyone ordering this game should know that its 'God of War 2', not the original. Of course the '2 Disc Set' kinda overlapped the other 2 in a sense, but it still should be noted.

Get the original as well, as it serves as a nice background for this game.

***UPDATE***: It seems Amazon finally corrected the title by removing the '2-Disc Set' thing and thus avoiding confusion by consumers. Kudos to you, Amazon!

God of War II game review
For any gamers out there that are heavily into playstation, need to at least rent this game. It is superb. You really don't need to play the first one, unless you get really hooked and want to learn more about the story. Overall, I give this game a 9/10. Try it!!!

God Of Games
God Of War II is an instant classic. Within the first ten minutes of game play I could tell I was in for a non-stop, highly interactive, blood soaked, hell ride. I was not disappointed. God Of War II picks up where God Of War left off, and takes you much deeper into the mythology of the epic struggle between Gods and Titans. Full of high resolution cutscenes God Of War II takes more time to tell you a story then it's predecessor, yet without diminishing any of the action. Along with the high paced mayhem are some interesting brain teasers that will have you scratching your bloody head, not to mention some really cool bonus features you will unlock upon completion of the game. Depending upon which version you buy (I purchased the 2-disc version) you will get a bonus DVD taking you through the creation process of God Of War II which was very cool. In short I highly recommend God Of War II, unless of course you are opposed to heart pounding, adrenaline pumping, throughly intriguing, highly interactive, blood soaked, adventures. In which case this game is not for you. Do you have what it takes to be the God Of War? I did.God of War 2
