This is just a USB A-B cable!
This is nothing more than a USB A-B (5pin) cable that ships with many products these days, like digital cameras. You don't need to pay the extra money for someone to call it a "charge link". You can find a suitable cable for much less money.
Works great
Someone said that it was slightly longer than the one that came with the PS3. I guess that depends on which PS3 as for mine it is over three times the length of the included cable. This allows me to plug in a sixaxis mid game and to continue playing from my couch.
Short version...
This a good quality cable, that is long enough to charge a controller while playing a game. What more can you say?
USB Charge Cable
This charge cable is wonderful. It's longer than the original one that comes with the PS3 so it allows you to sit back from your tv while charging your controller and have a complete view of your game like sitting in the back seat at the movies.
